MSI Hellas, has been active for decades in a wide range of services ranging from the field of Port Security and assessments / Ships navigating in dangerous waters as well as in the field of Management/Development Marinas and Ports.
As a Recognised Security Organisation (RSO) since October of 2015, it has undertaken important projects / studies at several Port Facilities / ports in Greece, amongst which are included, the passenger port and the Piraeus Container Station, Eleusina, Alexandroupolis, Chalkida, Igoumenitsa, Chios, Itea, Galaxidi, Kastelorizo, Kalymnos, Kythira, Vathi of Ithaca, Vathi and Pythagorio of Samos, Porto Lagos, Messolonghi, Kiato, Symi, SEKA [Fuel Supply System] of Kali Limenes of Crete, SEKAVIN [Bunkering Station] Syros, Shipyards of Syros, Agios Nikolaos of Crete, Argostoli, Sami of Kefalonia, etc.
It has at the same time carried out exercises and training on ISPS issues for personnel of Port Facilities and for crews of Passenger Ships, mainly cruise ships, with destinations to both domestic and foreign ports.

Our company’s activities for the implementation of the ISPS Code at Port Facilities / ports include: Initial elaboration of Port Facility Safety Assessment (PFSA) studies and Port Facility Security Plans (PFSP) and their total or partial modification; Initial elaboration of Port Security Assessment studies (PSA) and Port Security Plans (PSP) and their total or partial modification; and Reviews of the existing Port Facility Security Assessments (PFSA).
We possess the appropriate infrastructure and know-how for providing security advice on an annual basis 24 hours a day with regard to all the matters that are related to the implementation of national and European legislation on ports and port security.
The company’s main turnover also includes the appropriate preparation & increase in the level of readiness by the bodies involved for upcoming inspections by a National Authority or by the European Commission, the training of security personnel in the implementation of the Security Plans, the capacity for making PFSOs and DPFSOs available at Port Facilities, conducting large scale exercises & drills, as well as conducting internal inspections. With respect to the training sector, the company has included in its strategic planning the implementation of training programs for certifying PFSOs and port facility security personnel in conjunction with the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom.
